I work at a Title I school, and my students do not always flourish in academic subjects, but when they enter the art room, they are artists! I have been able to find an artist in all my students by varying the medium/ lessons and this project will help me expand their artistic experience. It is truly magical when you see a child holding something he made that he is proud of. Therefore, I would like to be able to teach my students 3 dimensional art , for example, sculpture, paper mache, etc. My students have never been able to make anything 3D, and those are the projects that are kept over the years. Also, I have limited access to supplies, very basic colors and materials. These materials would inspire more creativity in each child.
