Students will be able to read about current happenings in the fascinating world of Science when reading Scholastic SuperScience! Let's face it, students are not reading the newspapers. In fact, neither are their parents! SuperScience puts colorful, inviting up-to-date Science in their hands! They will read and share what they have read while making connections to their everyday lives. My goal is for students to realize that they can one day be a part of discovering something that has not yet been discovered! They have the potential! With the STEM kits including a marble run and Lego Chain Reaction at their disposal, my students will have those eye-popping, lightbulb moments! They will see Science in action and will use what they know to discover all the things they didn't even know they knew! As a teacher, those exciting, Christmas-morning types of squeals make it all worthwhile!
