My school is part of a grant that offers amazing reading resources. Part of the grant is having the ability to access a computer program called Ticket To Read. My students love having access to this program as it teaches them reading skills at their instructional level rather than their grade level. It not only works on phonics but fluency and comprehension as well. The problem that we are facing is that my school is not equipped with the necessary computers and headsets for my students to be able to access this program on a regular basis. With just 3 Chromebooks in my class, I can develop a Reading center where students will be motivated and inspired to read!
