I love getting students to watch book trailers! It is a great way to encourage readers to try a new books they NEVER thought they would like. When they visit Author's websites, they find activities that deal with the books they LOVE! It is so fun to watch their expressions as they watch book trailers and say "Mrs Daniels, I want this one". It just makes my heart so full. I have over 60 book trailers on my Schoology page. They surprise themselves by picking books they wouldn't normally choose. It is just a great way to get them to branch out.
