We are always changing our teaching to accommodate the ever-changing needs of our students. Our current curriculum focuses on a workshop model of teaching. This model requires us to work not only in a whole class group, but also in small groups. Our class size dictates a need for a conference space that will seat 8 students. That is why I am requesting a horseshoe table. This will allow me to meet with 8 students in guided reading groups and math problem solving groups. The table I have requested has a special dry erase top, which will allow the children to work right on the surface! Thank you for your help in obtaining a spot for our small groups to work comfortably!
