There is never enough money in the budget for all things. I have students who would benefit from having tablets to use as communication devices. The tablets would have an app loaded to become communication devices. With touch screen technology, my students can use a tablet as a voice output device. This project would literally put words into the world of non verbal children so that they can have a voice in their world too. I also have students who are not yet ready for assistive technology devices. I print pictures to aid in my students’ daily lives. The laminator will protect their pictures from day to day use. With the combination of these items I can help so many of my students.
