I am a 3rd grade teacher in Indiana. I have a class of 27 children. The school year has just begun, and like all teachers I am quickly learning about my students' abilities and interests. I have found that although my group are for most part reading at grade level, they are not interested or eager to read. Why would this be I asked myself? I have come to the conclusion that it is what they are reading.
