Power Bands will help my students learn about healthy choices. To learn how daily activity can make a difference in their health.It will give them an opportunity to measure their steps and to compare them to what other students their age do. Many of my students do not have opportunities to be active. Showing them that just moving throughout their day can lead to healthier lives. As a school we have set up a garden and have nutrition lessons every week. I want to make sure that they see that they need to be active along with their healthy eating choices.
