Every day when my students walk into the classroom they let their light shine. They are full of energy and eager to learn. They love completing hands on activities, stations, and science labs that propels them to think like the scientist they are! Their bright and bubbly personalities inspire me to aid their personal development and scholastics to become the best versions of themselves.Despite a lot of the challenges in life that my students are faced with, they continue to push through adversity. Our school's location site is in the heart of the Eastside, which is about 20 minutes outside of Atlanta, Georgia. 99.9 % of our students have free and reduced lunch and live below the poverty threshold. No matter their background struggles or economic disparities, they truly deserve the best education. I want to be sure that they are reaching new heights, not only as scientists but holistically as a 21st century student.
