The students of Crown Academy in Chicago are hard-working and eager to learn. They live in a high-poverty, high-crime area of our city, but do their best every day. We have an outstanding attendance rate because our students simply love to learn. At Crown, we love hands-hands on science and this year we have already modeled blood flow through a model heart, conducted chemical tests to identify new materials and dissected plants. It would be fun for our students to see the workings of cells first-hand and up-close.
