The more sports balls, cup stacks, and floor tape we have the more units, skills, fitness circuits, and relays we can do, without needing to borrow the equipment from other schools or making equipment out of household objects. With such large classes it is hard for students to practice skills when they are put in large groups when our time for physical activity is already so limited. With more equipment students will be able to have more activity time and be more engaged in our lessons. I use cup stacks frequently for my students with special needs for when they get overwhelmed or when they need an alternate activity. Having sports balls that are junior sizes allows students more success when practicing skills since it allows them more control when practicing. Having even half of a classroom set of equipment would allow students to be able to participate in actives in groups of two when practicing skills and drills.
