My students are receiving their math intervention support remotely through zoom. These materials will help the students to utilize the online manipulatives and effectively share their understanding and work with me. My students all have district-provided iPads. It can be very tricky for young learners to manipulate the number-racks and ten frames that we are using on their screens with just their fingers. A stylus will provide the students with more control and an efficient and effective way to move things on their screens and also respond to problems. My students are learning from home with their parents or caregivers, siblings, and other family members all at home working and learning as well. It can get loud and distracting. The headphones will help the students to block out some of the background noise of their homes and allow them to focus on our group time together. Finally, I would like to make personalized "I LOVE MATH" bags for each of my students to keep their stylus, headphones, and other daily intervention materials in. This will help to keep them organized and also help to make sure that the items are not lost and can be used for the entire school year if not longer.
