These books will help my students learn English through enchanting pictures and stories that also align with their classroom curriculum. These books were picked by students as high interest readers. My students feel so empowered when they come to my EL classes and can go back to their classroom and be able to participate in class the same way others do. We often achieve these goals through vocabulary exploration in literacy. When my students look for books to read they often request these titles. It's hard as a teacher to buy books for your room, given our limited budget and the amount of resources our own school library has. My students would be overjoyed and over the moon to have these titles available to them in our classroom.
