My school district is small and is without a library for its students. However, these new acquisitions will supply my students with texts that they can only dream about because they have been under-served. To start my classroom library, I have selected several of the Dragon Ball Z graphic novel series as well as a new release from John Green: Turtles All the Way Down all available on the Amazon.com. This is merely a start to creating a small library for my students, but it is essential all boys and girls have access to reading to improve their reading/writing literacy.
