My goal is to instill a love of reading in my students and to help them become lifelong readers. I would like to spark my students' interest and enthusiasm about reading. I would like to see my students pick out good books, read, and have discussions about them. To do this, I need to be able to provide my students with a classroom library full of engaging books. Literacy consultant and author, Jennifer Serravallo, stated, "Without engagement, you've got nothing." The books I am looking to add to my library will help ignite the love of reading in my students.
