Many of my students have trouble staying focused during lessons and often view pen and paper work as "boring". Lets be honest, the old pen and paper method can be very dry and hard for us adults to stay focused when working with it. When my students use Tablets during lessons they are more engaged and more eager to be an active participant in their own learning. My school was robbed a few years ago of all its technology that was used to service over 900 students that are in my school. As a result technology is not always accessible to my students like it used to be. The Fire Tablets will help my students become engaged in lessons and take responsibility of their own learning. The students will use the Fire Tablets to become more active in do nows, turn and talks, exit tickets and weekly assessments.
