The piano is an essential tool for many musicians. Its straight forward layout makes the instrument very useful for teaching the foundations of music. Piano can help develop motor skills, pattern retention, listening and creative skills. I have had great success teaching piano as part of the music curriculum in the past. I'm requesting twelve midiplus Midi Controller, 32-Keyboards for my music classes. Pianos are accessible for young learners; the simplicity of sound production encourage success . The abundance of cell phone and tablet apps, and cheap keyboards make practicing at home a possibility for students. I have seen many students become inspired by the opportunity to play such a culturally significant instrument. I hope to bring this inspiration to my current school which unfortunately does not have enough funds for a music budget.
