My students are always filled with wonderful ideas of how to better themselves and the world around them. Technology is a medium in which they can expand their knowledge through exploring their world. Unfortunately, we don't have one-to-one student technology in our classroom, and this makes it hard to enhance their learning through technology. More technology will give my students more opportunities to read and research, create digital art, record video tutorials, build online portfolios, and develop a love of languages. Through programs such as Achieve3000, RAZ Kids, Duolingo, and i-Ready, laptops would maximize the enrichment of my math and reading centers!
