Having the Lego Boost Kits will me to develop the coding center that I would to create in the technology lab. Students will be able to work in groups to build and code different types of robots. The Lego Boost Kit will also help my 3rd -5th grade students to develop 21st century skills such as math skills, communication, critical thinking, collaboration, real–world applications and creativity. My students are ready to beginning building and using new apps to code different robots. This kit will help my students in becoming real-life problem solvers and analytical thinkers. As we know programming is everywhere, basic coding skills are needed for many jobs. The Lego Boost Kit will encourage my students to think outside the box and to express themselves more creativity. I would like to teach my students how to build and code an easy robot like in the Lego Boost kit using the coding app available on the iPad. The Lego Boost Kit will provide my students with endless programming and building opportunities; they can build different robots to accomplish various tasks. This project will also help build our STEM program by helping to give low-income students a great way to develop their love of coding. Thank you for supporting my students and our schools coding program!
