A class set of Boomwhackers will enhance student engagement and hands-on learning opportunities. With a focus on 21st Century Learning Expectations, students collaborate, problem solve, think critically and express creativity. Boomwhackers are a great way to ensure inclusion, allowing for ALL students to participate in music making, regardless of abilities and/or limitations. This is important, because our music classroom is a fully included classroom, supportive of individual student needs. These materials will be used for a variety of grade levels from Kindergarten through 8th grade, and will be infused into performances for the whole student body. Through a variety of lessons, the students will be part of the "symphony" while making music together!
