Our world is changing and technology opens up a world of possibilities for young learners. Teachers can utilize technology to bring the outside world inside the classroom and provide authentic learning experiences. iPads can be loaded with math and literacy apps that meet the various academic needs of students. They would allow me to differentiate for and cater to students' diverse needs using high interest technology. Additionally, they can be used to give parents a glimpse into our classroom & help students share their work. Students simply love using iPads which promote independence & increased engagement! However, access to technology is very limited in our district. These materials would provide my kindergarteners with the opportunity to grow their learning through technology that addresses their specific needs. With the addition of these tools to our classroom, my students can truly learn and play at the same time!
