I am seeking an opportunity to offer my students a purposeful and authentic learning experience. Chromebooks will help me achieve this goal. Unfortunately, most of my students have never stepped outside of our small community, or have seen nor worked on a computer. These Chromebooks will provide a way for them to experience the world beyond this area and broaden their minds. We are in the process of implementing a computer based learning program that would help provide a more purposeful learning experience. Unfortunately, lack of technology is a major concern in our school and preventing us from achieving this goal. Chromebooks will also allow for a more personalized learning experience. The programs will address multiple learning levels at one time. These are just a few reasons Chromebooks would be a valuable resource in my classroom.
