The Epson document camera in my project will make a difference in my students' learning because they will be able to see me model how to use manipulatives to work math problems or practice phonics rules using letter tiles to make words. The dry erase boards with lines will help my students when they work with me at my teacher table during small group times. My students need the boards to write their responses to questions I ask to show if they understand and can apply what they've learned from the lesson. They also need the dry erase boards and paper with lines so they can practice handwriting by staying in the lines. The math manipulatives and computer games will provide support for students who need extra practice. The Astrobrights color paper comes in handy for projects and color coding assignments. Students learn best in an environment in which they feel safe to take risks and learn from their mistakes with constructive and encouraging feedback. The document camera and dry erase boards will be used to share student work so that we can celebrate their success and learn from our peers.
