Living in the 21st century, technology is the way of the future. Teaching a moderate/severe class requires the use of a multi-modal approach and iPads will aide in this. With four iPads, we will be able to take our kids on virtual field trips based on our classroom themes. iPads also allow the students to explore through teaching videos, songs, and real-life pictures. Among other things, iPads are a key to helping with vocabulary in all academic areas through research and pictures. My students are able to show their independence by using the touch screen, scrolling through the apps and completing independent tasks assigned to them. These iPads can take us anywhere.
