This Spanish Heritage Resource Center has been dreamed thinking of my 9th to 12th grade students as a great opportunity to put together immersive and accessible engaging Spanish texts that offer the scholars the chance to learn and discover their own heritage. This Spanish Heritage Resource Center will give my students on-level articles from magazines that teens want to read, with practical vocabulary and scaffolding techniques to build proficiency grammar and comprehension. These Scholastic Spanish magazines immerse students in their foreign language and help them build comprehension and speaking skills. With this resource center, students will read about news on real teens, fascinating traditions, and pop culture trends in the Spanish-speaking countries. Also, they can submit their own articles for publication. These magazines are specially designed to help my students to meet their proficiency level and the foreign language standards.
