With this microphone, my students will feel like they have the floor. It will improve class discussions and book sharing times by giving one child a sort of "talking stick" that emphasizes their voice and helps them to be heard. This is a fun interactive piece of technology that makes discussions more kinesthetic in nature and allows students to get physically involved in the lesson. I can't imagine a better way to keep the attention of those in my class. My kids will all want to participate if even to just get to hear their voices over the microphone for the first time.
