We would like to provide students an option in the classroom to move and be active, or assist their need to use of movement to aid their learning by providing a seating option other than a desk. We are asking for wobble stools and yoga balls because these two items are the two "favorites" of students. With students having the option to choose their seating type in class, they enjoy using items that meet their physical need to move and wobble which both of these items serve students in this way. Students need more flexible seating options in middle school to allow for the different types of needs students have in the classroom. I would like to support an environment of learning that allows students need to be fulfilled as well as provide a student voice and choice in the classroom on a daily basis.
