Kindergarten sets the foundation for academic success. I chose materials that support science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through a hands-on learning experience. The STEM kits include a variety of materials to engineer things such as bridges, houses, and cars. The STEM kits also promote critical thinking and problem solving that students need in order to enhance their higher order thinking. The STEM kits also promote creativity, which is important in the success of Kindergarten education. With your help, my students will be challenged with activities that promote creativity and higher order thinking skills. Children should be able to learn through hands on learning, rather than completing worksheets all day. Your donation will purchase materials that will allow them to learn through play and hands on experiences.
