My students are eager to use technology in class. They are most engaged when they are learning through technology. I am unable to provide them with high-speed and user friendly devices that would benefit them the most. The computers in our classroom are limited and outdated; I generally present lessons to whole group with me as the leader of the lesson, but I would love a way to enable my students to lead lessons. This is something tablets would bring to our classroom. By donating to our project, you would be providing my students with tablets and STEM Bins that can be used during Math and ELA small groups, which would increase engagement with the course materials. My students are genuinely eager to learn, and the opportunity to use a wider variety of learning tools will allow me to better differentiate instruction for each child's skill level.
