Piano skills are an essential part of music education, and students enjoy the opportunity to play an instrument in a general music class. Right now, when students learn to play piano they have to place the keyboard on top of student desks. This places the keyboard too high to be able to play with proper performance technique as the hands are elevated above where they should be. The solution to our problem is to get proper stands for the piano keyboards to sit on, which will place they keyboards at an appropriate height. Students have raved about having the opportunity to learn piano skills in general music, and now it is time to ensure that they are learning how to play with proper technique!

About my class
