Students in my classroom will use the computers to improve their literacy and comprehension. Students will use Chromebooks to work on the website Lexia Core 5, which created individual literacy activities for students continually based on the responses to activities. Students will also use the computers as a listening center to listen and follow along with a book. After listening to a book students will be given Accelerated Readers assessments online to individualize student reading goals in the classroom. Since many of our students in September lack the basics such as letter identification/sounds and vocabulary, we will also use Starfall online.
