A choral library is a very important element to a successful choral program. The chorus students will be more successful if they are provided with quality music to sing and learn from. Within their music reading and choral singing the students are able to integrate math and reading skills into the choral classroom everyday. By providing my students with quality music from the building of our choral library, they are becoming better musicians and choral singers. I would like to purchase this variety of song selections in order to build and supplement existing music in my school choral library. My students and I will rehearse some of the selected songs during our class time and then perform these songs at some of our spring events. With an extended selection of songs in our choral library, the chorus students will be able to experience different styles and genres of music, including music in different languages.
