The students will use the items for personal care which will increase their overall self-esteem. Our students will learn about how to take care of themselves regarding personal hygiene and have more pride in themselves. Students will learn the proper way of brushing their teeth and taking care of themselves on a daily basis. Students will receive training from the counseling team on personal hygiene and self-esteem. As an end result, the students in need will receive personal hygiene items such as toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, and personal wash cloths. In addition, students will learn more about self pride and maintaining good health. As a result, students will take more ownership in their personal care and utilize the personal hygiene products. Students will have more pride in themselves and ultimately perform better in school. A person's physiological needs must be met in order for them to be ready to learn. These donations will help our students be better prepared to learn.
