These materials will give my students hands-on materials to help them learn and grow. Through creative play they will gain knowledge in engineering structures. My students will be able to learn about ramps and gravity as they use the marble works activity. Dramatic play with the dolls will enhance their language and social skills. Since our district is in a rural area the farm set will allow students to identify farm animals and explore tasks farmers complete daily. Magnetic blocks add to our science exploration. I have selected many materials that will help my students learn as they play. Their fine and gross motor skills will be further developed as they use the various items.
