A sensory room is a specially designed room. This room combines a range of stimuli to help individuals to develop and engage their senses. Students will be able to interact and explore items within the sensory room. Each student has the ability to use this sensory room. The sensory room would be used to help students engage in their world around them in a safe environment. The wooden pattern path finder will help the students with fine motor skills and dexterity. The cushion chair and the Sensarock will allow the students to explore comforting movement. The occupational puppets will allow us to teach the students about the helpers in their community. This environment will help build confidence and the abilities of whoever is using the room. Please help bring students the outlet to explore their senses.
