My English classroom serves approximately 30–34 students per class and 180 total. Our students reflect the rich cultural diversity of our border city neighboring Juárez, Mexico. Many of my students are English Language Learners who work hard each day to master the language and succeed academically. My classes also include Gifted and Talented students and students with learning disabilities. While each student’s learning journey may look different, what they share is a deep sense of determination, a strong work ethic, and big dreams for the future. These students know the importance of their education and are motivated to do well. With the right resources, they are capable of amazing growth. Your support helps ensure that every student regardless of their starting point has the tools they need to thrive.
