This project creates more rigorous instruction, promotes critical thinking skills, and incorporates writing across the curriculum, requiring students to cite evidence from the text. The Lenovo ThinkPad will be used for online instruction on I-Ready and to provide exposure to rigorous questioning and higher order thinking questions. In addition, it will provide consistent, data driven differentiated instruction that targets the needs of each student and provide students with multiple opportunities to utilize technology in the classroom. I will be able to differentiate instruction and incorporate technology to attend to the unique needs and learning styles of students, and encourage collaborative learning groups to promote student engagement and accountable talk. This will make a difference in that key skills are continuously built upon as students progress.
