Flexible seating has many great benefits for students. It allows for choice, which lets students become more independent and feel like the classroom really is theirs, too. Flexible seating helps students feel more comfortable in the classroom. This is more important now than ever as we will have to help students make the transition from months at home due to the COVID-19 pandemic back to school. I plan to use flexible seating in my classroom every day. Students will be given the choice to find what they like in order to promote successful learning not only this year, but in years to come.
