My students are learning spoken and sign language and written language all at the same time. Developing literacy skills in language helps strengthen their abilities to communicate with others while also building a foundation for academic learning. Use of their personal amplification with sign support and these instructional materials will assist them in the development and practice of much needed skills. I am asking for resources including one A - Z Pegboard Set, some Sight Words String Ups, a Big Box of Sentence Building, a Listening Lotto: Alphabet Names & Sounds Set, and some Dough Literacy Mats. The materials I am requesting vary in instructional level from the letter, phoneme level, to the word level , to the level of connected language. Have materials at these varied levels assists us in meeting the instructional needs of each of the students at their individual level and also provides a hierarchy of instruction.
