My older students have materials and opportunities for hands-on STEM learning--I need some activity kits so my first and second graders can share in the learning. I've carved out time in their schedule--now I just need materials. I want to use an enrichment block to give my first and second graders who are already excited about STEM learning a chance to build and experiment. I want to purchase a robotics kit for early learners, and some building kits to explore simple machines and electronics so my students will be able to learn science concepts through building and experimenting. So many of my students are struggling with reading and writing--I want to give them more opportunities for hands-on math and science learning. It's the part of their day that makes them feel successful and starts them off as life long learners.
