Our MESA Club's mission is to develop interest for disadvantaged students, especially those from underrepresented groups, with the knowledge and skills that will enhance their interest and prepare them for professions requiring degrees in engineering and other mathematics and science-based fields. MESA students will utilize 3D modeling programs and a 3D printer to design solutions to real-world problems. Students will use the knowledge they have acquired to compete with schools in Northern California. 3D printing is predicted to be a major tool of the future. From food to clothing to buildings and more, we will be relying on 3D printing more and more in our everyday lives. 3D printers will allow my students to be more competitive and expand their creativity with the projects they will be working on.
