My goal for these resources is to implement a listening center to attend to my students' individual literacy needs. The phonics activities with help enhance their decoding skills and improve their reading. Studies have shown that interactive activities leave a lasting impact on students' learning. Since many of my students are English Language Learners they will benefit from this interactive center with visuals. The CD player and headphone station will allow the center to run smoothly and keep the area quiet for students to concentrate in other centers. The students will attend the center weekly and engage in the activities based on their literacy areas for growth. Donations to my project will make a positive impact in their learning.
