I am a first year fifth grade teacher in a charter school with no library. Many of my students struggled in the traditional school environment, but they are working so hard to "catch up." I have requested subscriptions to Scholastic "Story Works" magazine to provide them engaging reading material in the classroom, and a set of plays based on fables and myths to improve their fluency and comprehension. I am hoping you are able to give us a hand in our commitment to become "readers". As Dr. Seuss said, "The more that you read, the more things you will know."
