At this age, knowing the boundaries of personal space can be challenging. We use our carpet space for most of our learning. Providing students with their very own space will alleviate issues of getting in others space, teach boundaries, and allow all students a safe place to learn on the carpet. Along with a rug, my students would benefit from having comfy reading choices. We have 3 beanbag chairs that have been well loved for the past 6 years. I have tried to repair them but the holes keep getting larger. The students enjoy reading much more when they have somewhere soft to sit. I would like to replace the 3 outdated beanbag chairs with 2 new ones.
