A Redcat Audio Access System is a perfect tool to providing a personalized learning and 21st Century environment to my 51 5th graders. Through a Lightspeed system, I would be able to increase my students' ability to comprehend, improve their sustained focus, and boost their engagement, and help my learners filter sound. 5th graders are still developing ways to sift through noise, and this system would allow my students whose sensory systems are easily overloaded to be able to regulate better incoming noise. Plus, it would help with my voice fatigue and equip my student presenters with a tool so everyone could hear them. My teaching and students' learning would be positively impacted as my students would be learning in an environment that has an optimal listening environment for them to "tune into learning." I know their focus would increase and so would their engagement. Furthermore, many students have an auditory learning style so this system would help me match their learning modalities. Additionally, I have students with reading challenges, and a Lightspeed sound system would help my students who have Auditory Processing problems, to better process sounds and better understand. My voice would not be competing with the sounds of 27 desks, buzz of the lights, or the noises in the hallway. The Redcat Access audio system gives students the immediate confidence they need to read in the classroom. Students read with more confidence and fluency when they don't feel like they have to shout to be heard. Please help fund this project to give my students the opportunity to be heard and let them know their voice matters! Let's make it CLEAR that they ALL have positive contributions, reflective thoughts, and compelling ideas and proposals that MUST be heard!
