There is an emphasis for not only academic growth but also social emotional learning in my school. This allows students to take ownership of their growth and learn the skills necessary to not only achieve academic success but to learn necessary skills to work well and collaborate with others. Students will be able to create and printout their own forms for creating and tracking their own goals. Students take pride in their work and are motivated to reach the goals they have set for themselves. Students will also be able to complete projects and print out their own mindfulness and relaxation techniques. This will be individualized for each student. Students can also create, print and track their personalized leadership, academic and social emotional growth goals.
