The best way to learn about something as complicated as robotics is through a hands-on learning experience. These kits will help us get started with robotics and programming concepts, something that few students at my school have previously had access to. This is an after-school activity because there is no dedicated robotics class, so students will be giving up two afternoons a week to learn robotics. Multiple robotics kits will allow us to put parts together in more complex and creative combinations. Each kit can be used to create 11 different robots, with clear instructions. Using five kits, students can create bigger robots that do more, allowing them to go outside the instructions given to create something completely new.
