I am asking for these items to truly help expand what independent living skills I can teach my students! Cooking is a huge part of living independently and I am limited to what recipes I can teach my students with our limited resources. We make what we have work, but with these additional items, I can make more opportunities for my students happen! A fridge will allow me to include recipes with eggs, butter, and milk! A microwave will allow me to teach the students how to reheat foods along with make certain recipes including the microwave. They can truly rock adulting!
