I am an elementary librarian at a Title I school. Even my youngest students get excited when they learn about science and social studies in the classroom. I wish to extend their classroom learning experience by providing science and social students books for emerging readers. The Cat in the Hat's Learning Library delivers science in an engaging manner that appeals to young readers. They learn and have fun with the colorful illustrations and delightful text. Other books from this series have proven popular to my elementary patrons and appeal to reluctant readers. They are selected and checked out as soon as they placed on the shelves.
