With a class set of electronic tablets, my students will be able to easily and effectively conduct research on the myriad of topics we examine in STEPS. Conducting effective research is one of the most important life skills that Twenty-First Century students need to ensure success in an increasingly complex and technologically advanced workplace. I am simply seeking the tools needed to ensure that my students master this vital skill. This year, we have already researched and created projects concerning diverse topics such as bridges, storms, bats, and notable people and having an individual tablet available for each student will make the research process more interesting, fun, and meaningful.
